We agree pages, content and the goal of the site, and what you will provide.

2. Build

I set up WordPress, the theme and the pages on a staging or live site as agreed.

3. Optimise

I tune speed, mobile layout, on-page SEO basics and security settings.

4. Launch and hand over

We test forms and links, launch, and I show you how to manage the site.

Tools and approach

WordPress, mainstream themes and page builders, a small set of reputable plugins, PageSpeed Insights and Search Console. I also build hand-coded static sites, like this one.

Honest limits

I focus on small business and portfolio sites. Large online stores or custom plugin development are outside what I currently offer, and I will say so early. You provide the domain, hosting and content, or we agree how to arrange them.

Do you provide hosting and a domain?

I can advise on options, but domain and hosting are normally bought in your name so you stay in control.

Can I edit the site myself afterwards?

Yes. A short handover shows you how to update pages, posts and images.

Will my site be good for SEO?

I build in the technical basics, but ranking also depends on content and competition. I do not guarantee rankings.

How do you keep it secure?

Updates, strong logins, limited plugins, backups and the checks listed in my WordPress hardening checklist.
