Project walkthrough: this website’s technical and local SEO clean-up

A walkthrough of SEO work on my own site. It describes what was done; no client names, traffic numbers or ranking results are claimed.

Problem

The site had placeholder domain names in canonical, sitemap and structured data, mixed positioning between security and design, and a contact form that depended on server scripts the hosting did not run.

Work performed

Replaced every placeholder URL, made canonicals, sitemap and robots.txt consistent, unified the Person schema, built dedicated service pages for graphic design, digital marketing, SEO and WordPress, and moved the contact form and chat to Netlify.

Tools and process

Manual audit of every page, JSON-LD validation, link checking, Search Console and Lighthouse for follow-up. See the technical SEO checklist.

Outcome

A consistent technical foundation and a clearer entity. Search results have not been measured yet, and I will report them here once Search Console has enough data.
